I love my tablet.


This would be my first work that I've finished completely with my 9x12" Intuos3. Ah, it is so awesome.

*ahem*

If anything, this should be an indication of how much I want winter to come already. :/ School's starting in a week too, though I'm more excited than depressed (unlike most of you. ). Summer's actually getting a bit monotonous and boring, through I'm sure I'm going to think the same of school in a few weeks. >_>; One bright side: I'm not a freshman this year. Not that being a freshman was hard or anything, but I feel like I got a rank up or something (God, I'm such a geek. >_<. Enough about this though, time to talk about the piece...

This piece, like almost everything else I've done, evolved and changed so much from my original sketches to the final image. It started out as a girl in a yellow raincoat smiling and jumping into a puddle. I sketched it again and it turned into her holding her hands up in the snow. Another sketch, and I changed the viewing angle, and this is what I started to do on the computer. I did the lineart for this, the decided that I should probably make the character a boy, so I shortened the hair and made the eyes a bit smaller. He still looks kinda feminine, though... anyway, I changed the raincoat into a hooded jacket and made it blue, then added gloves.

I'm not completely satisfied with this one. I think I did better on anatomy, but perspective still annoys me, and I was having trouble with the post-processing and adjustment layers on this one; I just couldn't get it quite right.

Oh, and I signed this one. With a snow bunny. Because I can. o.o;
